Arkansas Nuclear One - Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-313 and 50-368 License Nos. DPR-51 and NPF-6 Request for Extension of Notice of Violation Regarding Environmental Qualification
Dear Mr. Martin:
The Arkansas Power & Light Company (AP&L) is in receipt of your correspondence of April 24,1989(SCNA048925) which transmitted a Notice of Violation (NOV) and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty with regard to certain Environmental Qualification (EQ) activities at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO).
AP&L isorequesting an extension of thirty (30) days beyond the current response due date of May 24, 1989 in order to complete the development of our response in a manner which will appropriately address the subject issues comprising the NOV. This request was discussed previously by telephone with Mr. Dwight Chamberlain of the Region IV Staff and this correspondence is to serve as confirmation of that discussion.
