REFERENCES:

(a) June 1,1989C.P.PatellettertoCordellReed Reference (a) provided NRC's initial request for the French Ministry of RENarch and Industry (MRI) to tour the Braidwood Nuclear Station to exchange information on the protection of comercial nuclear reactors in the U.S. and France. In the June 1, 1989 letter the tour was tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 21, 1989; however, there has been a change to that schedule and to the number of visitors. Originally, there were to be two visitors to tour the facility; however, the NRC staff has been informed there will be either five or six visitors and the tour date is to be Thursday, June 22, 1989.

The names and biographical information for each of the visitors as well as the security information is included in Enclosure 2. Enclosure 1 outlines the revised schedule for the French MRI visitors. If these changes to the schedule are acceptable, pleese advise Mr. Sands accordingly and have your licensing administrator continue to work with him to finalize any remaining details.

We greatly appreciate ycur willingness to participate in this endeavor and apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause your organization.
