Areas examined during this;preoperational inspection included Unit-1 solid,

liquid, and gaseous radioactive waste systems; radioactive materialf

transportation program; and the' station radioactive waste: management program.

Within these areas, the inspection' consisted of selective' examination of'

procedures and representative _ records', interviews with personnel,,and'

observations by the NRC inspector. oThe inspection findings.are documented.in

the enclosed inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were' identified.

We have also examined actions you -have taken with regard to previouslys

identified inspection findings. The status of these items is 1dentified in

paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.
