On January 7,-1980, the NRC staff issued a letter requesting each licensee to

. review their Quality Assurance Program to determine if diesel generator fuel

oil was. included. ~The District documented their methods to assure fuel oil

quality by letter dated Septe.mber 14, 1988. The NRC staff has completed a

review of your response. Based on your response and.the relevant parts of

inspection report 50-312/88-42 for Rancho Seco, no further action.is required-

at this time. This fulfills your commitment to document your diesel generator-

fuel oil requirements.
