- This letter transmits our report of the routine resident. safety inspection by
Messrs. R.:A. Gramm and R..L. Fuhrmeister on February 13.to March 26, 1989 at
the Limerick Generating Station, Unit 2, Limerick, Pennsylvania of activities
authorized.by NRC License No. CPPR-107 and to the discussions held by the-
-
inspectors with Messrs.:.W; T. . Ullrich,- A. .S. MacAinsh and other members' of :
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during'this inspection are described in the enclosed NRC Region
I Inspection Report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel and observations by the -inspectors.
No. violations were identi"ied and no response to this letter is required.
The Limerick Generating Station Unit 1 and Unit '2 rasident inspe tor offices
have been combined under a single Senior Resident Inspector, Thomas Kenny.
Subsequent resident inspection reports will be issued as combined reports for
both Unit 1 (Docket No. 50-352) and Unit 2 (Docket No. 50-353).
Specialist
inspections will continue to be single unit'reporcs for the present time.
