NIAGARA M0 HAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT # 1 NARRATIVE OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE The station operated during the month of August 1987 with a Unit Availability Factor of 100.0% and a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 83.4%. There were no challenges to Electromatic Relief Valves.
Reductions I
in Capacity Factor were due to Control Rod Pattern Adjustment, high lake temperature, and limited to 90% CTP by three (3) recirculation pump operation.
