This assessment is documented in the enclosed SALP Board Report. A . meeting will be scheduled.to discuss.the assessment. That meeting is intended .to provide a forum for candid discussions relating to the performance evaluation. .At the meeting, you should be prepared to discuss our assessment.and the current status of your program'to correct the major deficiencies in the areas of operations and assurance of quality that resulted in unacceptable level of performance which led to the NRC shutdown Order of March 31, 1987. Any comments you may have regarding our report may be discussed at the meeting and written comments should be provided within 30 days after the meeting. Following our meeting and receipt of your response, the enclosed report, your written response, and a summary of our findings will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
