Gentlemen:
This is to document the November 4, 1987, meeting between representatives of
Toledo Edison Company (TED) and the NRC at the Davis Besse site.
The purpose
of the meeting was to discuss actions taken in response to recommendations
made in the Augmented Inspection Team Report of October 1, 1987 (50-346/87025
(AIT)).
During the meeting, TED discussed their actions and provided clarification
to information contained in the AIT report. Additional information concerning

the event is documented in TED's response to the Confirmatory Action Letter
'
(Ltr Shelton to Davis dated 10-9-87).
TED has committed.to take action on all the recommendations. The team leader
.is satisifed with the planned actions and schedules for completion and has no

further questions regarding the AIT recommendations. Also, attached are
corrected pages that should be inserted to the report as discussed.
