This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. W. P. Ang of this
office on October 26-30, 1987 and November 16-20, 1987, of activities

authorized by NRC License No. DPR-54, and to the discussions of our findings

with Mr. G. C. Andognini and members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection on November 20, 1987.

Areas examined during this inspection are describec in the enclosed inspection

report. Within these areas, the. inspection consisted of selective
l
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
l
personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
No violations with NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosures

will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
