INSPECTION OF COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION UNIT 1 FOR COMPLIANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS OF BRANCH TECHNICAL POSITION (BTP) CMEB 9.5-1, " FIRE PROTECTION FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS" An NRC team inspection of the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station (CPSES)
Unit 1, to ensure compliance with the requirements of BTP 9.5-1, " Fire Pro-tection for Nuclear Power Plants", will be concucted during the week of October 19-23, 1987. The team will consist of Amarjit Singh, team leader, Dennis Kelley, Senior Resident Inspector, Melinda Malloy, CPPD Project Manager, two contract inspectors from Brookhaven National Laboratory, and one contract inspector from Science Applications International.
Melinda Malloy contacted Don Woodlan of your organization requesting infor-mation regarding your fire protection program be made available on site for staff review on September 9 through 10, 1987, in preparation for the inspection effort.
