Pursuant to commitments contained in the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) letter to the NRC dated October 15, i
1986, attached please find the Bailey 862 Solid State Logic I
Module (SSLM) Bi-Monthly Failure Report for the Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS).
This report covers both lE and non-lE modules and summarizes inservice failures per month by class, assembly type and failure type.
With respect to the last two month period, June 1987 - July 1987, 9 Bailey 862 SSLM failures were identified that had an affect on the circuit in j
which they were used.
These failures are discussed in the-attached Bi-Monthly Report.
Also included is a correction to the February 1987 data to include an additionally identified failure.
