LIMCOM Program l
Gentlemen:
For several years, McGuire Nuclear Station has had installed.a computer model of j
the Technical Specifications entitled LIMCOM.
The purpose of the program was to 1
provide operators aid in complying with the requirements contained in specifica-tions.
j However, based on a thorough evaluation of LIMCOM, Duke has determined that LIMCOM does not interface well enough with the user to be an asset.
Accordingly, with this letter Duke rescinds all previous commitments made relative to the operation of LIMCOM.
