This is in reply to the proposed interim Joint Public Information Center (JPIC)'

locations for Dresden, LaSalle, and Braidwood County Stations, as transmitted to Region III by letter dated August 12, 1987. The proposed course of action was reviewed and discussed by telephone with Mr. Hironori Peterson of my staff and Ms. Irene Johnson, Mr. John Golden, and others of your staff on August 14, 1987.

We have determined that this temporary course of action does not decrease the effectiveness of the Dresden, LaSalle, and Braidwood County Generating Station Emergency Plans. These interi.a JPIC relocations are, therefora, acceptable.
