SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-424/87-46 AND 50-425/87-33

This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted by

J. L. Kreh on July 29-30, 1987. The inspection included a review of activities

authorized for your Vogtle facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the i'

findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the

enclosed inspection report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within i

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures 1

and representatlee records, interviews with personnel, and observation of  ;
