i Operations Narrative Cooper Nuclear Station February 1987 On February 17, power was reduced to approximately 20% (single RFP operation) to allow entry into the drywell to make repairs.
Repairs were completed on
~
February 18, and preparations were made to start the second RFP for power ascension. However, during implementation of the RFP startup procedure, the operating feed pump was inadvertently tripped, resulting in a reactor scram on low water level. The plant was placed back on-line February 19.
A capacity factor of 82.9% was achieved for the month of February.
