We have received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) letter dated June 18, 1987, and associated final exercise evaluations on the offsite Emergency Preparedness Exercise conducted on October 22, 1986.
This was'a full participation exercise for Monroe County, Wayne County and Brownstown Township and a partial participation exercise for the State of Michigan.
Based on the performance of the offsite agencies during the exercise, FEMA identified no deficiencies. However, there were several Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) observed.
The State of Michigan responded with a schedule.of corrective actions which was reviewed and approved by FEMA.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
