SUMMARY

Month: July, 1987 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of July in a refueling outage. The unit came back on line at 2342 on July 5.

The unit reached 1007. power at 0911 on July 9, following several start-up related power holds. On July 19, the unit reduced power to 777. for approximately four and a half hours, to help the dispatcher meet minimum system load. The unit then returned to 100% power where it operated for the remainder of the month.
