Semiannual Effluent Release Report Gentlemen:
Enclosed is the Maine tankee Semiannual Effluent Release Report for the period January 1, 1987 to June 30, 1987. Also enclosed, for your information, a copy of the Off-Site Dose Calculation Manual which was revised during this period. The changes, which are indicated by margin notations, include:
1.
The definition of inputs to the Method II dose assessments.
2.
Revision of dose factors in consideration of the expanded definition of the site boundary for effluent control.
3.
Utilization of the latest available 5 year meteorological record
-(1981-1985) for the estimation of atmospheric dispersion parameters.
4.
The removal of an assumed shielding factor for residential structures in consideration of dose rate determinations l
5.
The use of Regulatory Guide 1.111 deposition rates for the determination of atmospheric deposition factors.
6.
The location of nearest residences and dairy farms as determined by the most recent (1986) land use census.
