USE OF REGULATORY GUIDE 1.147 (TAC 65604)

The NRC staff has completed its review of your request, dated June 2,1987, for authorization to use the code cases ' listed in Regulatory Guide 1.147 at Wolf Creek Generating Station.

! Regulatory Guide 1.147, " Inservice Inspection Code Case Acceptability ASME Section IX Division 1," lists the ASME Code Cases that are acceptable to the staff for implementation in the Inservice Inspection Programs of light-water cooled nuclear power plants. The actual ASME Code Case that is implemented should be specifically identified in the program. The staff reviews the In_arvice Inspection Program and determines compliance to Section XI ASME Boilte and Pressure Vessel Code and applicable addenda as required by 10 CFR 50.55<'g).
