As requested by OGC, we have prepared our current estimate for the date of issuance of staff review documents (SER and EA) for the Vermont Yankee spent j
fuel pool expansion. We understand that this information is to be provided to i
the hearing board because milestones for the hearing process are keyed to the

issuance of staff review documents.
1 We estimate issuance of staff review documents by November 1,1987. Our estimate is based on receiving from the licensee satisfactory responses to questions by September 4,1987, receiving safety evaluations from review branches by October 1,1987, and completing document preparation, OGC review, and management review in one month.
