This amendment is in response to your application dated i
May 21, 1987, as supported by submittals dated June 30 and July 14, 1987.

This amendment will revise the current minimum critical power ratio (MCPR),
linear heat generation rate (MAPLHGR) to reflect Cycle 12 operation. The core reload consists of 196 General Electric Type GE8x8EB (GE.8B) fuel assemblies.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. A Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular biweekly Federal Register notice. This completes the action on TAC No. 65534.
