In accordance with the reporting requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, Article IWA-6220(b), Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) hereby submits the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP) Unit 1, In-Service Inspection results. These examinations, performed from February 13,1987 to June 13,1987, were done primarily to complete first inspection interval requirements using Section XI,1977 Edition through the Summer 1978 Addenda. However, the second L
inspection interval began on July 10,1986 as established by an NRC approved relief request. Therefore, second interval inspections were also performed using Section XI, 1980 Edition through Winter 1981 Addenda.
