PROPOSED RULEMAKING, " REVISED REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DOMESTIC LICENSING OF SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL"(SECY-98-185),10:00 A.M., TUESDAY, AUGUST 25,1998, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The Commission was briefed by the Nuclear Energy institute and industry representatives and the NRC staff on the proposed changes to Part 70 regarding the domestic licensing of special nuclear material. The Commission will provide guidance and direction to the staff in the staff requirements memorandum resulting from the Commission vote on SECY-98-185.
