Your letter of September 24, 1987, transmitted Revision No. 15 to the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Security Plan. This revision also includes your responses :

to NRR's letter of August 19, 1987, requesting additional information concerning Miscellaneous Amendments changes. The Headquarters' staff will respond to you regarding those changes. We have reviewed those portions of the plan revision submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) and have determined that, with one exception, they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), and are considered acceptable.

The exception is not considered acceptable for the reason stated in the enclosure to this letter. You are requested to revert to previous plan wording and submit a corrected page revision to this office within 30 days of the receipt of this letter. If you wish to pursue changing your plan with respect to the section not considered acceptable under 10 CFR 50.54(p), you should submit the change under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.90.

The enclosure to your letter is being withheld from public disclosure since it contains Safeguards Information and must be protected in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
