SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-382/98-12
Dear Mr. Dugger:
From June 14 through July 25,1998, an inspection was conducted at your Waterford Steam
Electric Station, Unit 3 reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of
that inspection.
During the 6-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of activities at Watedord 3
was generally characterized by safety-conscious operations, sound engineering and
maintenance practices, and careful radiological controls.
In'accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
Should you have any questions conceming this inspection, we will be pleased to discyss them
with you.
