GREEN TICKET NO. 003293 - LETTER FROM WALTER SCHMIDT SUGGESTING A METHOD TO MITIGATE THE POSSIBILITY OF FIRE IN NUCLEAR PLANTS The response'to the attached ticket item is due to DEST (Mr. Shao's Office, P700) no later than COB November 25, 1987.

Please make sure that D/ DEST receives'a cop'y of the final ticket response.

When preparing the response, please add to the concurrence page distribution list "LShao" and the appropriate ticket number identifying the action item.

For example, LShao (DEST 87-XX or YT879XXX or ED0 #26XX).

It is DEST policy that the Director receive responses for all-tickets at least one working day prior to the due date. If the original action item due date is changed, please' inform Nancy at X28793, she will then revise the DEST due date accordingly. You should also keep Nancy informed on the status of all controlled action items (e.g., EDO, Green Tickets, WITS) assigned to your office (e.g., to what branch / person the action item was assigned to).
