A. Security acts as ERRD until relieved by a principal ERRD and durir:g off hours has overall site authority and responsibility.
B. Security, e.g., the Station 1 operator, will notify the Emergency Response and Recovery Director (as required) as part of the initial response.

- 1. Responsible to notify and inntiate the response of the primary response group.
- 2. Secui%y Station No.1 becomes emergency support center.

- 3. Alternate directors are appointed from the facility / project.
- 4. Directs the effort of the primary support group and requests notification of secondary and outside g:rsups i as needed.
- 5. ACt as Emergency Response and Recov7 Director until relieved.
- 6. Notitles the secondaiy and outside support groups if so directed.
i 7. The Media Coordinator and Nuclear Engineer are designated individuals, not positions.
- 8. Chaired by Manager, Health Physics (Radiation Safety Officer). The primary alternate is a Health Physics staff member who is designated authority in the Manager's absence. The secondary altemates
!' are designated Health Physics Technicians, followed by the CRSC Chairperson.
i 9. Director, Licensing, Safety and Nuclear Compliance will contact the appropriate Federal, State, and local authorities in the event of a radiological emergency.
- 10. Reports to the Emergency Support Center unless directed otherwise.
