Nucleer Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved August 1983 " Physical Security Plan, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3" (Plan) for NRC review under 10 CFR 50.54(p).
Page x to this Plan (an attachment to the enclosure) provides a chronology of the current NRC review stitus for each revisio.n to this Plan (Revisions 0 through 16).
Revision 16 to this Plan incorporates textual changes Which are a result of our continuing review and updating _of this plan.
Accordingly, enclosed are four (4) copies of Revision 16 textual changes and the Revision 16 PSP p gos Sr review pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p).
Two (2) copies have also beer, ice uded by this letter to the Regional Administrator, NRC, Region V.
The changes described in the enclosure and its attachments do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of this Plan.
The enclosure and its attachment contain " Safeguards Information" and must be protected under 10 CFR 73.21.
