EXAMINATION REPORT No. 50-312/0L-87-03 On October 19-22, 1987, the NRC administered examinations to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to operate the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station.

As a result of these examinations nine Reactor Operator candidates were found to' meet the minimum qualification requirements for licensing out of ten applicants. As noted in the enclosed report, licenses will be m issued to the successful candidates following facility certification of completion of all eligibility requirements.

At the conclusion of the examination, the written examination questions were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and enclosures (1) through (4) will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. Enclosure (5) is personal Privacy Information and will be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6).
