Enclosed please find an application from IS0TEC, INC. for a license to export 50 kilograms of heavy water and 180 kilograms of deuterium gas to various countries.
The heavy water will be used for research purposes.
i Before taking action on this license application, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures, as to whether the proposed export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act as amended by the Nuclear Nonproliferation Act of 1978.
