As previously committed in GPU Nuclear's letter to the NRC dated June 19, 1998 (1940 l 202S5), this lettcr provides the final results of the revised calculations addressing Thermo-Lag fire l
barrier seismic capability.
GPU Nuclear Calculation No. C-1302-814-E540-0CM, Revision 0, has been completed, design verified and issued on July 23, 1998. The scope of this calculation includes Thermo-Lag l
assemblies attached with wire instead of steel bands, assemblies not mounted against a stmetural 1
volume such as a tray, conduit, or electrical box, box configurations around valves, conduit 'T' wraps, and miscellaneous assemblies around supports and eauipment anchor plates.
This calculation also evaluates some assemblies attached with steel bands not covered in GPU Nuclear Calculation No. C-1302-814-E540-003 previously completed and summarized in the above referenced GPU Nuclear letter.

These two calculations unstitute the structumi evaluation of installed Thermo-Lag configurations at O C N G S.
The results of both calculations have confirmed the seismic capability of these Thermo-Lag installations as originally described in GPU Nuclear's letter to the NRC dated November 1,1995 (C324-95-2315).
