Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Correction of October 14, 1987 Letter On October 14, 1987, GPU Nuclear submitted a letter delineating the root and contributory causes of the operator error of September 11, 1987.
A review of this letter has revealed that the first line of page 2 was inadvertently omitted at some time during the review and approval cycle.
The omission was verbally communicated to the resident inspector and other members of your staff.
Page 2 has been corrected and a bar placed in the right margin to indicate the added line.
The corrected letter is enclosed in its entirety.
