RESTORATION OF RIVER BEND. STATION, UNIT.2, CONSTRUCTION AREA (TAC NO. 65808) j By letter dated June 12, 1987, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) provided-an update of'the plans for. restoring Unit 2 related construction areas due to the cancellation of that unit.
This letter indicated,;among other items,
)
that GSU is currently evaluating alternatives to the disposition of the j
Unit 2 excavation originally proposed and that a plan is being' developed for.

the restoration of the remainder of the dedicated Unit 2 areas.
In addition, the June 12 letter. indicated that specifications are being prepared to have
.the Unit 2'dewater.ing wells abandoned in accordance with State of Louisiana regulations.
We request that you provide your revised schedule for restoration of the Unit 2 construction area and the details for abandoning and sealing the
-Unit 2 dewatering wells.
The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements contained in this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required'-
under P.L'.96-511.
