BOMB THREAT Our Region II (Atlanta) office wes notified bv telephone at 1:30 a.m. l on June 11, 1975, that a security guard at Hatch had received i an outside call at 10:30 p.m. on June 10 from a female stating that .

a bomb would go off at the Hatch Plant within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />.  !

j Unit 1 is presently operating at 80% power. Unit ,2 is under 1

_ construction and is 26% complete. $l

a In accordance w1th plant emergency p'rocedures, a search by Georgia }

Power Company .(GPC) site personnel was initiated immediately both

(- inside and outside Units 1 and 2 and is still being conducted at j

the time of this notification. No bomb has been located. The FBI office in Savannah, Georgia, and the local Sheriff were notified by GPC.

A site contractor's labor contract expired May 31, 1975, and affected laborers have been picketing the plant. However, there is nothing to suggest at this time that there is any connection between the bomb threat and the labor problem.

No news release is planned by either the Georgia Power Company or NRC.

Region II is maintaining telephone contact with the sitc.
