Subject:
BOMB THREAT The licensee reported to Region I (Philadelphia) at 10:15 a.m. on 4/16/75, that a bomb threat had been called into the New York Daily News newspaper at 9:25 a.m., to the effect that three bombs had been placed at two power plants of the Consolidated Edison Company, set to explode in approximately two hours from time of telephone call. Nuclear g
- plants were not specifically identified in the threat. The licensee instituted his bomb threat search procedures at his nuclear plants.
This does not involve a redoction in power or release of plant

The search was completed by 11:40 a.m.
No bombs were found.
