proposed Technical Specification Change - Standby Liquid Control System (SBLC)

Dear Mr. Murley:
l pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.90, Commonwealth Edison (CECO) proposes to amend Facility Operating License No. DpR-29. Appendix A, the Technical Specifications, to support modifications to the SBLC system being implemented to comply with 10 CFR 50.62 (ATWS Rule), as well as corrects a reference made to a figure in the Tech Specs which has been deleted as a result of the proposed amendment. The proposed Technical Specification changes are provided in Attachment 1.
A summary of the proposed changes is provided in Attachment 2. provides a discussion of the proposed Technical Specifications and also documents our determination of No Significant Hazards Consideration (NSHC) based on the criteria in 10 CFR 50.92.
The proposed amendment has been On-Site and Off-Site reviewed and approved in accordance with Company j
procedures.

CECO has notified the State of Illinois of our request and our determination of NSHC by providing a copy of this letter and the attachment to the designated State Official.
