Month: October, 1987 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of October operating at 100% full power.

On 1

10/01 at 1842, the unit reduced power to 95% due to a loss of both trains of

control room ventilation and chiller units.

The unit began increasing to 100%

power at 2333 on 10/01, where it operated for.the remainder of the month.

Personnel Exposure For the month of September, 48 individuals exceeded 10 percent of their allowable annual radiation doseslimit with the highest dose being 2.040 rem, which represents approximately 17.0% of that person's allowable annual limit..
