On November 4, 1987, a conference call was held between members of the NRC Staff and Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) to j
discuss the planned installation of a hydrogen water chemistry (HWC) system at the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP).
The purpose of this letter is to confirm arrangements for a meeting on Decehtber 1, 1987 at 1 p.m. to discuss the hydrogen water chemistry system installation at BSEP.
The meeting will include a review of the results of the pre-implementation HWC test conducted in December 1986, discussion of the proposed design for the BSEP HWC system, and the Company's evaluation of compliance with the EPRI guidelines for installation of HWC systems.
