VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 SERVICE WATER RESERVOIR PUMP HOUSE AND DIKE SETTLEMENT MONITORING PROCEDURE REVISION As required by Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board Decision ASLAB-578, this letter is to notify you of changes made to the North Anna Power Station Service Water Reservoir Pump House (SWPH) and Dike Settlement Monitoring Procedure,1-PT-111.
As part of Virginia Power's Procedure Process Improvement Program those p ocedures that were unit specific but contain identical requirements are being combin.4 into a single procedure. The settlement monitoring requirements for the SWPH arid dike, j
along with the service water and screen wash pump tilt measurement requirements are now contained in a single periodic test procedure 0-PT-112, Category l Structures -
Settlement Monitoring. The method to determine pump tilt measurement has been revised based on Virginia Power calculations to provide a more accurate indication.
The calculation established criteria for pump tilt based on elevation changes from SWPH settlement monitoring survey data.
