NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-369/98-06 AND
50-370/98-06
Dear Mr. Barron:
On May 30. 1998, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an
inspection at your McGuire Nuclear Station.
The enclosed report presents'the
results of that . inspection.
During the six-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of
activities at the McGuire facility was generally characterized by safety-
conscious operations, sound engineering and maintenance practices, and careful
radiological work controls. Work activities associated with the beginning of
the Unit 1 scheduled refueling outage were conducted without adverse impact to
operating systems on both units.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice." a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room
(PDR).
