l The NRC has received an allegation (RIII-87-A-0138) in which the alleger expressed a concern regarding the Dresden Unit i fuel pool. The alleger a
was concerned that the pool had remained stagnant-for over two years and about the effect this might be having on the integrity of the fuel racks and the concrete structure itself (more specific information was not given).
This information is forwarded to Commonwealth Edison Company for review and followup.
In your review, please address procedures or practices in place to assure the integrity of the fuel racks in the Unit i fuel pool and the concrete structure itself.
