Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter of June 30, 1987, supplementing your response to
our letter and Notice of Violation dated August 2,1985. The scheduled
'
completion date of December 31, 1987, for incorporation of changes made to the
Integrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT) procedure into surveillance test procedures is
acceptable.
This is based on these test procedures not being needed until the
second refueling outage.
However, the failure to meet the original committed
I
date of December 31, 1986, and the failure to promptly request relief from that
I
commitment will be addressed in an NRC inspection report.
