R-117 - UNIVERSITY OF ILLIN0IS The Commission has issued Amendment No. 4 to Facility Operating License No. R-117 for the University of Illinois LOPRA Reactor. The amendment i consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your i submittal dated January 6,1987, as ' supplemented on May 29, 1987..

1 The amendment changes Nuclear Engineering from a Program to a Department. .The staffing of the Nuclear Reactor Laboratory. is changed and the membership and meeting requirements of the Nuclear Reactor Committee are also changed. The reporting requirements of the Administrative Controls section of the Technical Specifications have been updated to reflect recent changes to the NRC's admin-istrative structure.

In addition to the above changes, to make the license condition more complete, we have discussed with your staff and have amended paragraph 2.C(1) of License . i No. R-117 to include the peak induced power level allowed for transient operation. i A copy of Amendment No. 4 and the related Safety Evaluation supporting Amendment No. 4 are enclosed.
