i LOCATION: 5650 Nicholson Lane I Rockville, Maryland Room 013 PURPOSE: Commonwealth Edison Company will present and discuss with NRC staff the following technical topics related to the NUTECH Piping Configuration Verification Program being used at Dresden and Quad Cities. In particular, the development and application of screening criteria for Mark I piping based upon Welding Research Council (WRC) document no. 316 will be addressed. Use of WRC-316 for Mark I piping has not been previously approved by the NRC.

Brief historical background of the overall program.

Basis of screening criteria to be utilized for design deviations that will not be re-analyzed for verification of FSAR compliance.

Basis of criteria used during the Phase II operability screening.
