Haag of,this' office -{ during the period October 5-9, 1987, of activities authorized by NRC Operating ^ License NPF-47 for the River Bend Station, and to the discussion of our i findings with members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. < Areas examined during the inspection included inservice inspection of welds and 'l fasteners, inservice testing of pumps and val.ves, containment local leak rate testing, the test and experiments program,'and the corrective action program. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews _witn personnel, and . . observations by the NRC inspectors.
