SETTLEMENT MONITORING SPECIAL REPORT i
Technical Specification 3/4.7.12, " Settlement Monitoring of Class 1 Structures" requires that a special report be made to the Commission within 60 days if a settlement or differential settir. ment measurement exceeds 75% of the allowable value giver. in Table 3.7-5.
The differential settlement betveca the service building and the Unit 2 main steam valve house has exceeded 75% of the allowable value and therefore a special report is required. We are unable to submit this report within the 60 day time peried required by the Technical Specifications and therefore are requesting an exterision to August 14, 1987 for submittal of the tpecial report.
This extension was discussed with Mr.
Cantrell of your staff on July 30, 1987.
