In response to your questions during conversations with Mr.
J.
P.
Kane of Georgia Power Company (GPC) recently, I am writing to provide further details concerning the Nuclear Utili ty Engineering Conference which GPC will be sponsoring in Atlanta on August 25-26, 1987.
He have scheduled a luncheon for Tuesday, August 25, and wish to formally extend an invitation to you to be our keynote speaker.
The luncheon is scheduled at the Holiday Inn, downtown, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.
The following information will give you a general flavor of the conference:
The audience will number approximately 60 and will consist of engineering supervisors and managers from the Region II utilities.
The purpose of our conference is to exchange general information and to discuss specific engineering topics.
Enclosed is a preliminary agenda.
Subjects of interest to us would be those related to NRC concerns and direction regarding functional inspections, evaluations performed in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59, or other timely generic issues.
He have scheduled approximately 30 minutes for this speech.
