R. C. Ct.ou on June 22-26, 1987. Tt.e inspection included a review of activities

findings were discussed witt. ti,ose members of your staff identified in tt.e
enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during tt.e inspection are identified in tt.e report.

tt.ese areas, tte inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews witt, personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
Tt.e inspection findings indicate tt,at certain activities appeared to violate
NRC requirements.
It.e violation, references to pertinent requirements, and
elements to be included in your response are described in tt.e enclosed Notice
of Violation.
Your attention is invited to ti,e unresolved item identified in tt.e inspection
report. TI.is matter will be pursued during future inspections.
In accordance witt. Section i.790 of tr.e NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of tt.is letter and its enclosures
will be placed in tr.e NRC Public Document Room.
Tt.e responses directed by ti.is letter and its enclosures are not subject to ti,e
clearance procedures of tt.e Office of Management and Budget as required by tt.e
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
