l The licensee has suspended concrete placement activities due to discovery of extensive cracking of concrete in the non-Category I turbine pedestal columns and in a wall of the Category I Fuel Handling Building. Concrete placements in both areas took place the last week of January and the first week of February 1977. Engineering personnel of the licensee and Brown &
Root, Incorporated, in conjunction with a Portland Concrete Association representative, are investigating the cause of the problem.
