CONFIRMATORY ORDER (EFFECTIVELY IMMEDIATELY)
This is to inform the Commission that a Confirmatory Order (Effective Immediately) will be issued on or about November 5, 1987 to GPU Nuclear Corporation. This i
action is based on a safety. limit violation that occurred on September 11, 1987, The Order confirms the licensee's commitment to remove the personnel of the operating shift on duty at the time of the safety limit violation from licensed duties and a second commitment to provide the NRC staff with a copy of the licensee's investigation into the subsequent apparent willful destruction of a portion of the documentation of the event.
It should be noted that the licensee has not.been specifically informed of the enforcement action. The schedule of issuance and notification is:
